We go here every year when we spend the week in Kentucky for our family reunion! Very fun and relaxing!
Nice place to swim with little kids and some good fishing spots for dad.
I'm a Truck Driver and decided to walk from Hucks just of IH 24/69 and US-62. Its about a 50 min brisk walk to the beach area. Water was absolutely perfect and not to deep. Nice sandy area. With restrooms. There was a shower to rinse of the lake water next to public restrooms. Bring water and stuff with you as there is no water fountain. Sure beat hanging out at the truck stop. Time of year i was here was August.
Came here to watch the eclipse. It was a very nice park.
